Benjamin P. Snoek

Biography

The Rev. Benjamin P. Snoek is the Assistant Chaplain for Worship at Asbury University. A proud Michigander, Ben graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with an M.A. in biblical and theological studies and a B.S. in worship ministries. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in theology at Columbia International University, where his research explores the intersection of liturgical theology and free church evangelicalism.

Prior to working in higher education administration, Ben served rural parishes and suburban megachurches in Michigan and Indiana. He is passionate about ecumenical and cross-denominational dialogue, having served and worshiped in congregations in the Christian Reformed Church, Reformed Church in America, Wesleyan Church, and United Methodist Church.

An ordained minister in the Christian Reformed Church, Ben is also an active string orchestra composer with award-winning music published internationally and Lead Designer at Snoek Creative.
